Geisha

Geisha-traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include performing various Japanese arts such as classical music, dance and games.
The traditional makeup of an apprentice geisha features a thick white base with red lipstick. The white base mask is used with rice powder, which covers the face, neck, and chest, and a line of bare skin around the hairline, which creates the illusion of a mask.

Geisha inhabit a separate reality which they call karyukai or "the flower and willow world."
